I’ll ask you for some basic background info, and if there are no conflicts or other issues pending our work together, we’ll agree on the scope of work and pricing. If you are a legal client, we’ll sign an engagement letter. If you are a non-legal creative client, we’ll sign an agreement.

I generally do not offer discovery calls for my legal or creative services.

Legal Services: In lieu of discovery calls, I offer 30-minute trademark consultations or 1:1 single sessions, each of which require clearing conflicts in advance and entering into an engagement letter (a.k.a, a written document outlining the scope of work and fees). In certain instances, I may suggest we have a brief call to discuss your situation and ensure we are the right partnership for your needs, but I cannot provide any legal advice during those calls. This policy protects my current clients and also ensures I conduct my business ethically.

Creative Services: As above, I may suggest a brief call to discuss your situation to ensure we are the right partnership for your needs. However, I can only provide specific guidance upon entering into a contract with you in advance. Please see my “power hours” option for booking consultation time.

Legal Services: Upon learning more about you and your situation, I can provide options for working with me. Depending on your needs, I may be able to tailor legal services such that we work within a desired budget, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis. If you cannot commit to long-term legal representation but need immediate guidance, please see my legal packages.

Creative Services: Outside of offering power hours for consultation and brainstorming, I am happy to discuss tailoring a plan to meet you needs.

Please see my legal packages to preview my pricing. Flat-fee services outside of my packages are determined on a case-by-case basis. Setting a flat rate is highly dependent on the project presented. Yes! Students who are at least eighteen years old* are welcome to work with me. I can provide student pricing upon inquiry at paisley@paisleypiasecki.com. If you are not seeking legal advice but want to talk all things career, education, courses, please reach out - I would love to help!

Because the majority of my legal services do not depend on state-specific law, I can usually assist my clients regardless of their location. Declining legal services based on location is determined on a case-by-case basis, and I will always communicate when a matter is best for state-specific counsel.
